COOPER CROMAR
When I joined Cooper Cromar, I was appointed as their Graphics/Brand Marketing Manager after they had paid an external branding company to create their new ID. From this I created marketing collateral including bids, brochures and InDesign templates while training the staff, website and intranet as well as signage for their newly refurbished offices.
After nine years, we were toying with the idea of changing the logo again. I worked on a variety of different styles as you can see below. The favourite logo was the last one - logo F.
DAPPER DOGGIE
This one was a private commission from a small company down in Manchester who specialised in wearable Pet supplies. The company was either going to be called 'Alfie and Me' or 'Dapper Doggie'. Dapper Doggie was the preferred option and the first logo below was chosen.
SPORK
Spork was a personal project I took on while learning Figma. It was created for Food-ordering app.
TRIBE CLOTHING
I was asked to design a logo by Original Shoe Co to create an identity for their sister brand 'Tribe Clothing'.This was one of my favourites and I was sad to see it never took off. Even though it didn’t go on to become the brand they hoped it would, the work still holds a special place in my portfolio. Sometimes the projects that don’t make it to the finish line are the ones you remember most!
MUSIC-RELATED LOGOS
After about five years designing M8 Magazine, Music Scotland Ltd launched Wax Magazine and I created the masthead logo which became iconic in the hard trance industry with top DJs displaying the sticker on their record boxes!
Newcastle DJ Mondrin asked me to design a logo for him, so I gave him a few options. The winning logo is shown first.
